We stayed overnight on our way up to Switzerland, the staff were not very welcoming and we had to park our car on the road which didn't feel quite safe in our opinion. The accommodation was adequate but we found the place to be not very clean. Especially important to us during the Covid situation. We would not stay here again.

Lovely interesting and quirky old building with an unusual history. We had a memorable, comfortable night and fun playing with the train track with our two year old who was over the moon about seeing it. Also enjoyed seeing the collection of antiques. We loved the location in nature, yet not far from other places. The whole place is stunning, full of history. There are many activities to do in the castle and around for kids and adults. Our kids forgot that electronics exist :-). The chateau team was amazing, very friendly, and helpful. We loved the breakfast and the setting of the breakfast. We felt at home!

Everything at Chateau De Cachard was absolutely wonderful. The Chateau, grounds and artwork are beautiful. Mickael is incredibly hospitable and made us feel very welcome and his culinary skills were fab. Our room was gorgeous and spotlessly clean. We were just very sad not to have stayed longer. We would visit again in a heartbeat, total luxury in the most peaceful environment. We will be planning another trip to stay at this amazing Chateau hopefully next year and will definitely be staying longer.
