The breakfast was not great. It was a bowl of croissants with some butter and jam for 8€/person. At least some cheese, ham and or eggs would have been a welcome addition. The coffee was good end plentiful though.
Located just a 20-minute drive from Vannes, Au Pré Carré offers an indoor swimming pool, sauna and Turkish steam bath. Lorient is a 45-minute drive away.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and he was always available to answer questions etc.
The bedroom was absolutely beautiful and very spacious and spotlessly clean, and sound proof. It had an extremely comfortable 6ft bed, plenty of towels, robes and slippers. The bathroom was also, absolutely perfect.
And as for the breakfast, it was beautifully presented each morning, with lots of choices of breads/pastries and the most delicious fresh fruit salad. The owner was so kind, he even had crepes and Nutella for our young son one morning.
Our stay was so relaxing, we used the pool and sauna and again they were fantastic.
I cannot recommend a stay at Au Pre Carre enough....it is 5 Star accommodation and look forward to returning there again some day.

Nice small clean room located near the farm so you can see cows around. Good breakfast. It was nice to chat in English with Christine, the host - unfortunately, our knowledge of French is limited by a couple of words. The room has all that is needed for a short stay and the owners kindly allowed us to use their fridge as we came with some products because our previous stay was in an appt with a kitchen but without breakfast included. The room is not equipped with an air conditioner ( as most rentals in this area). Unfortunately, one night was very warm and without mosquito net we could not open the window, so I dreamed about having a bit of fresh air.

It’s a beautiful and quaint cottage house located just in between Plescop and Meriadec. The place feels homey and we love the communal kitchen with all the cute cups and mugs. You can hear the birds chirping in the morning while having breakfast . Our room was so clean that it feels brand new.

Great location, short walk to the center, and good restaurants even 3 minutes walking! I tried the spa and it was so nice and renovated, truly relaxing. I also loved that they offered to rent bicycles and even a helmet, I used it quite a lot. That was also the reason I chose this hotel, and it worked out really well!
Also really comfy bed and bedding in general.
Plus all the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times!

Anne De Bretagne is located in the historical quarter of Vannes, 10 minutes from the town centre and 15min from the port. It provides spacious accommodation only 100 metres from the train station.

Les Dames de Nages was amazing and the most wonderful restful stay. Philippe, the host, is a lovely man and very generous with his time, knowledge and makes your stay a true pleasure. The rooms are comfortable, well equipped and our dog was made as welcome as we were. A great base for cycling too. Breakfast was wonderful with different fresh breads and jams, pastries, local fruit and juices. The pool and hot tub were the icing on an already wonderful slice of French cake. Location is perfect - about 15-20 mins from most of what you want to see in the area. Highly recommended.
