the centres of French towns are really interesting but the rest is a mish mash of square box like buildings and billboards and the roads go round in big circles and send one dizzy and disorientated so if you miss a sign you are lost, but it adds to the adventure. It is also within 30 minutes of Wipers in Belgium to see the buglers.
