Beautiful, well thought out conversion with everything you could need in the beautiful french countryside. Very friendly owners who were able to help us during our visit. Great space for cooking and enjoying a bottle of wine in the evening. Comfy bed. Friendly cats on the property were a bonus! Easy check-in and communication before visit. We turned up and they claimed our booking didn’t exist, despite having an email discussion with them 6 months prior about checking in early. They were then “fully booked” meaning we had no where to stay.

Rooms were newly re-furbished and spacious, with a good view of the hills and local area. We had breakfast and evening meal which was home cooked and inlcuded some regional dishes. Staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking and quite safe, close to the town and Intermarche if needed. Also 10 mins drive to the railway station for trips to nearby towns e.g. St Etienne or Lyon if you prefer the shops and sights.

Loved the quiet, the green setting, the spaciousness. Dinner on location is an excellent idea, because there isn't much else in town and we didn't feel like driving any more. There is even a path to take you down to a "beach" on the Loire.

The location and view from this house is superb - lovely wooden terrace and furniture and comfy bed with very good sized room - not that usual in France. Breakfast all home made, but a little disappointing. Service not great, but still very good value for money.
