This was a beautiful property set in an idyllic location with great riverside walks on the doorstep, yet conveniently located for our stop-over. The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming and provided us with a lovely evening meal and a wonderful breakfast, including home produced ingredients. Extremely good value.

What a find! We absolutely loved staying here and our hosts Michelle and Marcel were so kind. Their house is beautiful and our room was immaculate, a top class boutique hotel. We would love to return one day. Breakfast is included and is outstanding, all freshly made by Michelle with home farm eggs and freshly baked cakes. Dinner is available if you message in advance.

The quality of the receptionists welcome was outstanding. He explained everything to us in English (he was French) and replenished our water bottles without us asking. He secured our bikes, recommended restaurants, and helped us orientate ourselves with a town map. I can not speak more highly of his customer care. The person on reception the following morning was also extremely helpful. He had our bikes out ready for us without needing to be prompted. Everything about our stay was exceptional. The breakfast was extensive.

Breakfast good. We were looked after very well indeed. We actually had the disabled room which we found very well appointed. We particularly liked having a sheet and blanket and not a duvet. But that is of course our preference. Although the dining room was next to a busy cross road the double glazing kept it quiet. There was a nice sitting out area too.
