After a drink in a handy bar, we dined at the Hotel Marie Stuart opposite which was an interesting experience amongst tartan décor. Everything we wanted was on the doorstep, so we didn't go far from the hotel.

Good road layout , easy to find town centre and hotel . Delightful central square with well planned pedestrian surrounding area with delightful flower beds. The town has steadily improved over the years we have been visiting which suggests a well organised town council resulting in an increasingly prosperous environment which is always good to see

It was so easy to find when leaving the major roads and the bonus of onsite parking was fantastic. The meal that we were able to book in their restaurant was excellent and the service was welcoming and helpful, it was also a bonus that the dog was made welcome in the restaurant. The staff is always offering help for anything. They are very professionnal. The furniture is really up to date and vintage in the restaurant, the amenities are equal to the Kyriad standards

So that was a nice surprise. The staff was warmly welcoming. In spite of the train station being 'right there', it was very quiet! We could easily walk into town. Nice town by the way.
