It was ideally placed by the river Dordogne, with parking at the rear of the hotel. The rooms were large and spacious, and we had a a separate sitting room with chairs and a table. The bed was very comfortable and large. We had a good shower in the bathroom. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. Although we did not use the restaurant, it was overlooking the river and spacious.

Beautiful village and so well taken care of.
Beautiful village and so well taken care of. Loads of things to do from the village in the nearby area, other villages, wine and cheese tasting, shopping. River cruise on a nice sunny day was great. There are loads of restaurants and a stroll after dinner is nice too.

Green spaces are well manicured and terraces are great. Although the weather did not allow for its use, the adults only pool is a great touch. The mound erected in front of the hotel blocking the view (and noise) of the busy road was a stroke on inspiration for the architect, we really appreciated the quiet and verdant view outside our window. Kayacking down the river, caves, town markets, and old towns. It is right across the street from a wonderful reataurant, O Plaisir de Sens. Ate one night at the hotel and it was good. Had amazing meals other. Having an adult and kids pool and tennis courts was fun. Newly renovated rooms felt so crisp and clean. We loved our stay!

The location for cyclists was good although there were some busy roads to negotiate before getting on to the cycle paths. It is possible to walk to a canoeing area and hotels with restaurants.
