we used this hotel as a stopover on the way to Meribel - we arrived late and left early it was perfectly fine but very basic - the staff were friendly it was easy to find and the parking was free.

La Tania is relatively a small resort with easy access to The Three Valleys ski area (650 km, the advts state) Not as many restaurants for eating out as other resorts, but my diet is somewhat limited. Burgers and Pizzas are not for me. Generally a pleasant family atmosphere. A very good local supermarket. Ski hire shops gave good friendly service. A great resort on the doorstep of Courcheval but without the price tag. There's a few bars and restaurants, not loads, but enough. If you want shopping then you need to hop on the bus and go to Courcheval but if you're there for the skiing then you can't go wrong.MartinUnited Kingdom

Quiet at night, great place to rest and enjoy with the family, friendly staff in local restaurants and shops, Courcheval near by if you want more busy style, lovely hike from La Tania to La Praz, even children could do it, so even though La Tania is quiet there is plenty to do in the area

The apartment is on the 1st floor, so a great view but still retains privacy. Full size fridge with small freezer, full size dishwasher and 4 ring induction hob. Good quality bedding and comfortable bed. The included parking space (in the adjacent building) is great as there's a shortage of accessible parking in La Tania. Fantastic location, metres from the free bubble open throughout the summer to enjoy the trails and mountain restaurant. Countless outstanding walks from the door where you can enjoy an easy hike through the Forest to Le Praz for a swim in the lake in the summer! a few minutes walk away from Ski Lodge for great après plus a favourite if you fancy a treat is the Michelin starred Le Farçon!
