I selected this property based on the recommendations of others and we were not disappointed. Our hosts were excellent and looked after us with, preparing a delicious breakfast. Our rooms were modern and comfortable and the bathrooms were superb and well-equipped. It is outside of the town so we had to travel into town to a restaurant so I would advise booking in advance if out of season as many restaurants are closed.

Location is in a deserted forgotten quarter of the city, next to a large patch of derelict wasteland. One imagines that it was originally situated there for its proximity to the former head office of the Casino supermarket chain. There is absolutely nothing else out there. The name ‘citycentre’ is misleading.

Friendly and helpful reception staff. Offered free cup of tea on arrival! Great restaurant on-site with bar and good choice of food. Didn't have breakfast there but in the past Campaniles have always been good.

After staying in tiny rooms for most of my holiday, it was refreshing to arrive at a hotel with large rooms! It’s an old building with rooms named after famous actors but the rooms are also clean & we were greeted very warmly by the front desk. The location is great: within walking distance to the trams & buses, grocery stores & laundromat. Note the tram services don’t appear in Google maps so plan your commute via the https://www.reseau-stas.fr site. The tram runs direct to the city & regional train station.
