This place has a top class restaurant but sadly we didn't realise that until we arrived by which time all the tables were booked. It would have been helpful to have known how popular the restaurant was likely to be before we set out and at a time we could have booked a table. It's also a pity that residents don't seem to get any priority. Frankly, the other restaurants in Langon were mediocre at best. The girl behind reception, Camille, was absolutely charming and so very friendly and entertaining. Multi-talented, she also served as the bar staff for our pre meal tipples, was the waitress in the busy restaurant and apparently was also the dessert chef. She was a delight and the hotel are lucky to have her. The room was not big but was comfortable and clean and perfect for an overnight stay.

We arrived late at night and found the self check in very easy to use. The location was very good, as it was very little distance from the main road we were using. The area is also well placed for alternative places to eat. Good size kettle in room, plus a mini fridge. Hotel is well insulated from noise around us. Restaurant is rumoured to be excellent but not open the night we were there. Room and facilities good. Access on a Tuesday via code lock on the door and desk unmanned but that was not a problem for us.

Will definitely always use this hotel as our one night stay both ways every year. Many thanks to manager and staff. Would definitely recommend.
