Nice space to stay for a night or two. John the owner is absolutely great and more helpful than you can imagine. We were arriving late and we hadn’t eaten. John told us where we could get something and he even had a pizza ready for us if we hadn’t been able to find something. He gave us directions on the phone when we were lost and stayed up late to welcome us. The place was very clean, warm and comfortable.

Property was a remote, old stone built farm house. Everything was fairly basic including the bio toilet which was a saw dust flush. The couple who run it were very nice and accommodating.

Fantastic location! Beautiful castle on a beautiful estate! But above all a great hostess! We enjoyed the castle visit with secret corners, nice anecdotes about previous residents and from the hostess herself. The breakfast was excellent and very extensive! There is a beautiful library, there are rooms where you can play ping pong, darts, pool, billiards, games and even do a workout.
