The staff were really friendly and helpful. We didn't speak any Frech but they tried their best to help us and we used Google translate to comunicate with each other. We didn't know that many places closed at 8.00 pm but they kindly opened the kitchen for us so could enjoy a delicious meal. Their gesture was lovely!

It was a disaster! The place was totally run down.

It was a disaster! The place was totally run down. We arrived at the designated time but there was no one there. After knocking and waiting we tried the door which was open and went inside. The place was empty, dirty, dismal absolutely disgusting. We certainly could not have slept in such a derelict place. After waiting half an hour we left leaving a note. We tried calling the telephone no. No reply. We finally managed to find another room nearby. Should certainly not be advertised as a guesthouse!!! Fortunately they agreed to refund our money.

Le Ham is tiny and there only a few houses and a church there but it makes for a good short walk from the La Ferme Des Vignes. Le Ham is a great place to consider as a base for travelling further afield and it is an easy drive to the Cherbourg-Poole ferry.
