Aurelia, the host, was a very lovely person, who did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable. She was so kind to the children too. The food was fabulous - Aurleia made her own butter, cream, jams and honey; and more - and Aurelia was very generous with the variety and the courses. She also spoke very good English.

Our host was sick but her daughter and son-in-law welcomed us and showed us the facilities.
We enjoyed the lovely swimming pool and relaxing in the peaceful garden. The village is quiet and pretty. Parking is in the street outside the property.

In a typically picturesque village, the gites above auberge Gillois are opposite the church and Marie. The property is a nicely fitted modern 2 bedroom apartment. Featuring a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, sitting room with dining areas for 4. The check-in welcome was informal, friendly and professional and the menu at the Auberge’s restaurant looked excellent. Our schedule was very tight so we did not have the opportunity to try it because
we arrived later than planned and had to leave early. We will definitely be looking to return and experience this place again.
