A beautiful Longere!! Friendly host Melanie, who even lit the log burner for us as it had got cold. Comfy sofa, well equipped kitchen, good shower and comfy beds too. A duck, a cockerel, a hen and a beautiful cat called Hermione were all in attendance, along with Guinea pigs. The grounds were vast too x Some of Melanie's mosaic art was stunning and available for sale also.

Delightful hosts! I was alone in the house the first couple of nights but got to visit with the hosts sometimes in the day. Sheila even gave me a tour of the town. Very outgoing and a real pleasure to get to know. For the accommodations, I was expecting a shared bathroom, but she made the ground floor toilet private for me and my room had a sink and shower, so all that was a very pleasant surprise.

Well, what can we say? What a lovely warm welcome from a couple who are obviously so passionate about what they do. We decided to take the dinner option and so glad we did. Exceptional dinner worthy of any restaurant. Suzi and John are a hive of information about the area and so friendly and welcoming we didn't want to leave! Sadly it was a bit early to make the most of the pool, though we were lucky with the weather. We'll definitely be back and definitely keep in touch!

The location was perfect for our needs, a quiet (ish) location and close enough to Ruffec. The property had everything internally that you would want whilst away including garden furniture, washing machine and cooking facilities.
