Aurelia, the host, was a very lovely person, who did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable. She was so kind to the children too. The food was fabulous - Aurleia made her own butter, cream, jams and honey; and more - and Aurelia was very generous with the variety and the courses. She also spoke very good English.

A good location for a stress-free holiday in Croth, Le Chemin du Village is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the garden.

Magali was super helpful and her English is very good. All small details were thought of - even slippers as we arrived as the weather changed! The bed was super comfy. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful with fresh bakery items and homemade jams. Although the village is quiet there are good facilities nearby - we ate in D"Anet which has a magnificent chateau!

Stephanie, our host, was exceptionally considerate of our needs Going out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed In particular she facilitated our change of bedroom to enable us to be next to the bathroom and upon leaving she gave us salad and baguette for a picnic lunch She also greeted us on arrival on a very hot afternoon with ice cold bottled water We can highly recommend the very comfortable stay at Le Margouillat
