We had stayed here many years ago and were looking forward to returning. We were not disappointed. We were very kindly upgraded to a beautiful spacious bedroom with a small balcony. Dinner in the restaurant on the open terrace was very good. The Sisteron Lamb was delicious and also the perfumed carpaccio dessert.
The reception staff were so kind and helpful with recommendations. We can’t thank enough the lovely young lady who personally drove us down to meet our taxi to the airport which was unable to reach us in time due to extreme weather which had caused a very bad traffic jam. Thank you again!
If you are looking for a tranquil stay away from the crowds we would definitely recommend Chateau Le Cagnard. There are also a couple of nice friendly restaurants in the village square with a good menu choice.
