The room was lovely, positioned right on the bank of the Vendée river. Spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The restaurant is very good, especially if you are a foodie!

The breakfast was excellent with a lot of home made products using fruit from their garden. Marc and Etienne were great hosts, generous, friendly and helpful. A really interesting house, tastefully furnished. We loved our stay there.

The gite was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped but I would not recommend that anyone stays here. It was the most expensive and poorly presented accommodation that we had in our 2 week trip through France.

Marans is an excellent location for us as it exactly halfway between our house in the Dordogne and St Malo ferry port. We love both these apartments, they're very well-designed for use by two people and the garden court yard is a bonus.

Well appointed little house, with interesting decor. It was very clean and tidy, and the garden was fenced - which was reassuring for our two dogs.
