nothing there apart from mcdonalds and a retail park which was closed on Sunday. We could not find a single bar in the town that was open and we walked a long way... Best to stay in one of the smaller villages a couple of miles way, they at least had bars open and some small supermarket type tabacs/shops.

There are thieves around, so I would never suggest anyone stay in this area. We had all our cash stolen from our room although it had a key pad with code on our door so it must be some kind of scam. Couldn;t reach the hotel or head office by phone to report the theft, and the police are investigating. Very upsetting and ruined our holiday.

Yes it is a budget hotel but had everything we needed including air conditioning that worked It is a fabulous location for the motorway. It does not have its own restaurant but there are many restaurants nearby including the Ibis hotel 100m away. Breakfast was great with plenty of what was on offer. The two members of staff we met were excellent and even let us have use of their kettle for our stay.

Despite the proximity to the road, we were not disturbed by traffic noise overnight. The staff were friendly and the beds comfortable and they were able to provide adjoining rooms for a family of 5. The facilities were basic as you'd expect from a budget hotel but the rooms were clean. We didn't opt for breakfast so cannot comment on that.

The hotel is a couple minutes from the highway, so very convenient. I was surprised by the Restaurant - it was actually really good. The personnel at the front desk was super friendly and professional. Therefore I recommend this place and would stay again if we have to take the same route.
