beautiful old manor house in a a lovely rural location we chose it because we had a long drive that day and wanted to arrive and put our feet up, enjoy the well reviewed restaurant and a nightcap in the bar.in this historic building unfortunately the restaurant was closed. the pleasant lady at reception helped us find somewhere not too far away to eat, but it was inconvenient ditto the bar. it closed at 630. as did the whole manor house (rooms are in the outside stable block) our room was comfortable and adequate, coffee machine, mini bar (just as well!) it must be a lovely place to stay when its actually open

The location is excellent on the waterfront and our host was amazing. It is In a fishing town that has seen better days but is so full of character and interest. The surrounding area is great to explore. The apartment is very comfortable and quiet at night.
