Rural location, in the heart of Somme area, just what we were looking for. Nice continental breakfast was offered, and plenty of it. Area around the gite was very quiet and peaceful. Could easily spend a few days here in the summer, relaxing in the garden. Hosts were very welcoming.

Location superb for WW1 enthusiasts. Secure locked gate for parking car within property boundary. Large secure garden for children. Spacious sitting room with separate dining area. Two good size bedrooms. Very modern bathroom and kitchen appliances. Everything possible was included and available eg, all plates, cutlery, towels, bedding, pots, tv and wifi, heating and much more. Very friendly host. Absolutely no problems at all, everything was better than expected.

I have been coming here since 1981. It is rural France. Nobody rushes round, you are in the epicentre of WW1 Battle of the Somme. You need a car and for eating in the evening you need to visit one of the towns nearby. It is a farming community and very welcoming.

Very quiet village. No shop for bread or supplies.
Very quiet village. No shop for bread or supplies. Small tabac which shuts at 8pm. Nearest bread shop 15 minutes away.
Rural location, good for walking and cycling. Well located for a Somme battlefield visit.
Nearby Trones wood very atmospheric.
Only minor niggle- the whole area is surrounded by wind turbines.
Excellent café for lunch in LA Bookseller run by British owners where all the tour guides take their charges.
Albert is disappointing, very few eating options.
