Easy to find in the centre of the village. Parking is normally not a problem in from the of the hotel but we arrived during a children’s Xmas event so we had to temporarily leave our car in a nearby free car park. The rooms are large, clean, very quiet and comfortable. We had a problem with no power to the electric sockets but the staff quickly fixed the problem. The staff are lovely and very keen to please. The restaurant is very popular with the locals and the food is excellent.

La Palombe is situated in the heart of the mountainous, wine-producing region of the Languedoc, just 6 km from Salagou lake.

Asa and Peter are Very professional and nice hosts. A sweet couple welcomed us without too many formalities, helped with the luggage and showed around quickly. We traveled with a child and they quickly accommodated our request for an extra bed. They were very cool with our son too. All beds were neatly made, the room was spacious and spotless, with its southern French charm. We had shampoos and shower gel, fresh towels etc in the room. Breakfast was just as you can imagine it: fresh bakery, tea and coffee, juices, fruit, dairy, ham, whatever one needs for a nice start of a day. The hosts suggested us to have a swim in a river and asked if we needed any recommendations around. We didn’t have time as we were there for a family event, but tourists would absolutely enjoy a good advice from Asa! Last but not least, I forgot personal belongings in the room and figured it only when arrived in a different town! Asa was extremely kind to respond my calls and messages, found my stuff and kindly passed it to me! What a luck to find such nice and honest people on your trip! Thanks so much for your hospitality and for your help again! Don’t hesitate to book the Domain de Brousson if you’re in the surroundings, and hope you will have as much of a good time! And take care of your belongings:)
