The breakfast was very French with a few nice touches, such as home made compôte, farm fresh milk and home made apple juice. Being German I would have appreciated a bit of cheese or similar but it was bread, fresh coffee, home made confiture, joghurt and some fruit. Very friendly service at breakfast

Lovely clean room with a fantastic host who stayed up late to see us due to a major delay with our ferry. Lovely breakfast and a really enjoyable stay. The bathroom to our room was over the hallway but this wasnt an issue. Brilliant value. Will stay again.

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is beautifully presented and is a perfect mix of modern decor mingling with the lovely architecture of the old building. The wood burner made it very cosy and it was nice to see many thoughtful ideas to make our stay more environmentally friendly. The kitchen is well-stocked with equipment and felt like a home from home. The place was so clean, it really was a pleasure to stay. The location is perfect, surrounded by fields where we took a nice walk. The village centre with butcher and bakery is very nearby, as well as larger supermarkets which were just a short drive. The chickens made my stay. I enjoyed feeding them and loved seeing them run across their enclosure to greet us whenever we appeared!!
