"Notre Bastide" Maison et table d'hôtes sur réservation, Piscine, Climatisation, Jacuzzi, hotel in Marcillac-Saint-Quentin

"Notre Bastide" Maison et table d'hôtes sur réservation, Piscine, Climatisation, Jacuzzi is set in Marcillac-Saint-Quentin and features a pool with a view and garden views.

What a delight this was! Our hosts were simply marvelous and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was beautifully designed and decorated and led directly to the dining lounge area. It was clear that a lot of thought had been given to the architecture of the building. The evening meal was superb and started with a lovely cocktail. It was like being in a Michelin star restaurant. Although we had to leave early the following morning so couldn't have a proper breakfast we were given some beautiful pastries to take with us for our journey. It was clear that our hosts took great pride in everything they did and the conversation over dinner was very entertaining. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anyone visiting the region.

We didn’t see anything of the village itself, I am sure that it is a very pleasant place but after having stayed in “Maison de 2 chambres avec iardin clos et wifi a Marcillac Saint Quentin” through Homerez for one night we couldn’t get away quick enough. With the black mould on the bedroom ceilings and the misleading description leading us to believe we had the entire house to ourselves when in fact the owners live underneath the living room area of the property. They have also refused to refund any of our money £1000 plus which included a £174 cleaning fee which is laughable considering we slept on the ripped sofa for our one and only night there as the bedrooms weren’t suitable. So we were left massively out of pocket plus hotel fees for the other six days.

Very close to Sarlat and yet in the middle of nowhere.

Very close to Sarlat and yet in the middle of nowhere. We were welcomed by one of the owner that showed us the room. Very quiet and well equipped. At night you’re welcome to the restaurant with locals and other family sitting at tables. A fire is burning in the cheminée. It’s very cozy and friendly, the food was really good and for a very very reasonable price. The portion are great if you’re a good eater! Breakfast went beyond our expectations, homemade jam, great bread, croissant, fruits and juice! The owners love kids and they have a little farm in the back that kids will love to discover. Thank you for the great stay!
