Our host went out of his way to make us comfortable after our long journey, laying a dinnertable so we could enjoy dinner in his home - we'd bought a lasagne and salad that he prepared and served with thoughtful additions including homemade vinegarette.

Beautiful chateau in a beautiful location. Very friendly owners who are justifiably proud of their amazing renovation of the Chateau. Breakfast was served on the garden terrace on elegant Limoges porcelain with delicious home made jams. Our room had been beautifully renovated and retaining many of the castle's earlier features. There is no restaurant for evening meals at the chateau although we we able to book a picnic style three course hamper of goodies that was delicious and saved us a further journey to find a restuarant.

We loved this place. It's a two star Auberge so don't expect 5 star facilities; but very well run. The rooms are clean comfortable but " experienced ". Ours overlooked the small square. Fresh air! The dining room .....excellent food by Christophe. Full both nights . But the star of the show is Stephanie. She is irresistible.....great sense of humour and at night runs the small restaurant with panache and a lot of laughs and good advice. Good English too for we Aussies that helps.
