Our expectations were low, as wel booked late and it was one of the only things that had a free room.
The hotel was a bit older as was the infrastructure. But it was really nice. Really comfortable and the staff was exceptionally nice. The hotel is in a lovely town that's easy to reach and from which you can easily go to other towns for the Wine-route.

Firstly, let me say without question that the staff were very hospitable and friendly and went out of their way to help.
Furthermore, the setting is superb and there is plenty of parking, so on paper this hotel ticked all our required boxes. We did not use the spa facilities so cannot comment.
However...
