Very nice breakfast. Helpful and pleasant staff. Secure place provided to store bikes. Staff contacted us in advance of arrival to say restaurant was closed. This allowed us to see if there were places to eat close by. There is a MacDonalds right next door. The hotel also had a room service snack menu available.

The hotel le Brocéliande is located on place de l'église in Bédée, 20 km from Rennes city centre. It features a restaurant and a bar with terrace.

When I booked (through Booking.com), the rate was shown as inclusive of parking and breakfast but after I put my credit card details in, the rate had increased and neither parking nor breakfast were included. This was a last minute booking so no time to rectify the problem other than refusing breakfast and parking in the village square. Also, a restaurant was advertised but no mention was made of the fact it was closed (as was everything else in the village on a Saturday night in August)! As this was a stopover on a long drive to the ferry, we had to make do with a picnic in the room from the local Carrefour.

Good location close to the VV3 for our bike tour. Good value basic accomodation. No breakfast available at the moment, but we ordered breakfast on our arrival at the Tabac across the road - good value. Rooms were good for a 1 night stay.

Set in the countryside of Brocéliande Forest in Iffendic, La Fontaine Garel dates back to the 17th-century and is a 30-minute drive from Rennes.

On this occasion we did not stay at the property. We were visiting on a fleeting visit for a funeral. Friends locally said we could stay with them at the last minute. Philippe was very communicative from the start of the booking process and was happy to keep the room for us in case our plans changed at the last minute. He was very accommodating and helpful especially under the circumstances.

The Château Du Pin - Teritoria is a charming B&B in Brittany, situated at the heart of Brocéliande Forest, near the Emerald Coast.
