Unusual house with an eclectic collection of artifacts; charm and interesting detail wherever you looked. A real novelty that it is an old house partly built into the rock, hence "semitroglodyte". The house is very full and a bit marmite in that you'll love that or hate it - but it has amazing character. Very well equipped. Like us you need to like cats as are there are several around! Located in the heart of the Loire wine and chateaux country. 10 mins drive from Amboise.

The location was very peaceful, the owner very welcoming and lovely. The accommodation had everything you would ever need and was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. I would recommend staying at La Grange.
