Excellent location, central to all amenities of the town, minutes walk from train station / car parks and beaches. Really helpful staff, who allowed us access after normal hours to store / collect our luggage on learning that our 23.30hrs ferry to Toulon was delayed by 2 hours. Our second stay at this hotel and would happily return.

You feel like leaving in a vampire’s house :) it was very unusual and new experience for us therefore I consider it to be a plus rather a minus. The location is perfect, in the main square of the town. The town itself is old and beautiful without all stupid touristy things in it therefore it felt amazing to be there.
It was very calm at night. The staff seemed to be a bit cold but still very friendly and happy to help with any of your requests.
We ate in their restaurant that night and the food was exceptional, one of the best we had in Corsica.

The location and the hotel itself are beautiful, a tranquil hideaway in the rocky hills above Île Rousse, with spectacular views across the valley, no main roads for miles, hiking trails right from the doorstep, and wonderful beaches a 20 minute drive away. The friendly staff always seemed able to rustle up a snack even when the restaurant was closed, and we often sat down for a Corsican cheese and fig jam sharing platter and a glass of rosé on the beautiful terrace after coming in exhausted from an expedition. The two infinity pools are also lovely places to relax for a few hours. (Also worth mentioning, there are a couple of EV charging points in the hotel’s very convenient car park, although I didn’t see any electric/hybrid cars for hire at Calvi airport.)
