We arrived later than offical check-in time and had to leave very early. The staff was very flexible and made sure we could enter/leave the hotel. The room had a lot of space. Hotel was very quiet (it was monday), so we had a good night of sleep. :) And, the price was good too!

After staying in tiny rooms closer to Paris we were excited to find we had a large room with plenty of space to move around. The bathroom was also larger. There’s a restaurant in the facility that has excellent service and wonderful food. Breakfast was limited to fruit, yoghurt and pastry. No hot breakfast, but the service, staff and facility itself made up for this. We wanted to explore small towns so this was a perfect location for us. You definitely need a car if staying here.

We spent a wonderful evening at l'hippocampe.
Corrine and Didier were wonderful hosts and they have a beautiful and tranquil home. We arrived wet after hiking in the rain. They brought our hiking clothes to the basement to dry and offered us fresh coffee and cake!
Dinner was delicious and we had an enjoyable chat afterwards.

Very spacious house, super clean, comfortable beds and generously equipped (here you will NOT have only four glasses ;) )
Also heating works well. The village itself is charming, but small - importantly there is a good bakery that works on Sunday morning.
