The accommodation is very complete. We have cooked almost every day. It’s a quiet place in the middle of the nature. Affordable. We went to Calais and Boulogne Sur Mer. Owners are super friendly and gave us fresh egg and tomatoes from the garden.

Very friendly host and comfortable accommodation in a nice location. The only downside was having to get in the car to go find something to eat after a very long drive, but apart from that perfect for a peaceful stopover on the way to catch the ferry at Calais.

A very beautiful, restful stop. We had a lovely drink in the pretty garden when we arrived. We had a really delicious evening meal. A good breakfast was included. Lots of local produce. The room was large and comfortable with a big modern bathroom.

Hôtel Château Tilques was built in 1891 on the ruins of a 17th century Manor House and is located only 5 km from Saint Omer. It has an indoor swimming pool and a tennis court.

We were having a week's motorbiking holiday. Arrived early at the gîte which was no problem for the owner. Nielles is a village/very small town in a quiet, woodland area. Supermarkets about 15-20mins on motorbike. Village has a boulangerie and a butcher's (the former opening every day - didn't got to butcher's). Frequented the 'Au Sportif', next door but one to the post office. Brilliant crowd of owner, friends and relatives - open weekdays from 5pm. Area is ideal for walking, biking, pedalling up and down old railway. The bed was super comfy. Ate out at lunchtime in surrounding area, evenings at the gîte.
