It is very unique and an original and unusual way and place to spend a night. It suited us as we were on a budget and driving down to the south of France, needing to stop on the way and wanting an experience. The Roulotte was sweet and clean and nicely designed and well fitted out. The bathroom is fully plumbed with hot water which was good. We had a sweet breakfast basket left outside for the morning. The guy was friendly when we arrived late.

Staff were very friendly. Stored bicycles for us with no fuss. Dinner in the restaurant was very good and again staff were very friendly and good service. Room was basic, clean with a good bed was excellent, had a great nights sleep.

A rustic gite in a lovely part of France. The property is quite small but full of character, with plenty of outside space for relaxing and eating. If the weather is good ( which is was for us ) then this gite is a great place to stay. The swimming pool was a perfect temperature to escape the heat and literally next door to the gite. Chevroches is a charming village, but has no shops. We hired some bikes from the property and rode down the canal, it was very quiet and coupled with a bread and cheese picnic a great way to spend an hour or two. Clamecy a short drive or a 40 min walk away and has a few restaurants, bakeries and a supermarket. It is a medieval town and some of the buildings feel like a scene straight out of Les Miserables. I would recommend this property for a quiet and relaxing break.

The host was very helpful in organising an evening meal for us in the town. She was very friendly and her English was excellent. Our breakfast was excellent and suited our energy requirements for the days cycling. The host supplied safe storage for our bicycles.

-The kitchen is well equipped, perfect if you stay for the week. -Their is all you need for entertainement, media or the more old fashion books/kid book/manga/boardgame/kid game. -You are in walking distance of all Varzy's amenities. -The gite is really nicely done and cozy, we really liked staying there.

Former coach house, this hotel is situated in the heart of Vézelay. Well-known in the area, it accommodated the actors in the famous French movie La Grande Vadrouille.
