We arrived on motorcycles and could park these securely, there were 4 of us on the trip, we had a twin room and an entire apartment which we had not booked, so that was a lovely surprise. A great bar offering a good variety of beers and also good food from a not too extensive menu which works perfectly.

We booked O'Zinc because it is near the train station and had good reviews for food. Problem was we arrived on a Sunday and there was no food. In fact the whole town of Viviez is asleep on Sunday - there is nothing to do and nowhere to eat. The same is practically true of the adjoining town of Decazeville. We arrived at the end of a ten day walk from Le Puy En Valet on a hot afternoon, desperately in need of refreshment. To find the whole place shut up was very disappointing. There were no staff, we just collected our keys from a box. We were the only people staying that night. The hotel itself is basic but quite adequate with good size clean rooms and decent showers. At least the location was good for catching a train the next morning.
