Given the high temperatures (well above 40 degrees) the swimming pool (set in well maintained garden) was a nice bonus.
Pierre is a friendly host and has a good set of suggestions for diner in the neighbourhood.

Was a very very beautiful place, me and my buddy are doing a 10 day motorcycle tour and this was our second stop really faultless. Beautiful bathroom, remote control ceiling fans in every room was brilliant. Also the bonus for the bikes was secure parking!
Chambres d'Hôtes Le Bourdieu is located in Soulignac, just a 15-minute drive from Cerons and its train station. It is a stone house with a library and views of the vineyards.

Exquisite former chateau once owned by the Lillet family. Beautiful large room with stylish furnishings and linen. The most comfortable bed imaginable. Room overlooked a garden that made you feel you were somewhere special.
