Great location at the southern end of the sand spit between Sete and Agde, but before the first Agde harbour canal. One of the few hotels where you are in walking distance to a great beach. A bit dated but great service. If you can get a room with sea view balcony. Car park is at the property. The flipside to the beach location is that you have to drive or bike to Marseillan Plage for a bakery or coffee shop, and to Marseillan town or Sete for a choice of decent restaurants.
Situated right next to the Hérault River, La Chaumiere is in central Agde and a 10-minute drive from the Cap D'Agde. It offers air-conditioned rooms and other ventilated rooms.
