The gite was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped but I would not recommend that anyone stays here. It was the most expensive and poorly presented accommodation that we had in our 2 week trip through France.

Marans is an excellent location for us as it exactly halfway between our house in the Dordogne and St Malo ferry port. We love both these apartments, they're very well-designed for use by two people and the garden court yard is a bonus.

it was what is known is shabby sheek wonderful old abbey building which the present owner and family have restored lovingly. the grounds are beautiful and interior, breakfast was brilliant and the owner was friendly and very attentive
