The cottage is beautifully renovated, the kitchen is well equipped, the shower and WiFi were both good. Thomas was a kind and helpful host. For walkers, cyclists and canoeists it’s in a great position for the Nantes-Brest canal (though it was too late in the season for us to hire a canoe or kayak in October).

I was visiting the area for a couple of days. The location was perfectly located for me visiting my son who is living in the area. The location is quiet, alongside a river with lovely walks. The staff/owners are all very friendly and welcoming. The room was large, clean and well appointed. The breakfast was really excellent and dinner (had on the first evening) was also very good and good value. I made use of the 'spa' facilities on the first day, both the hot tub and sauna (still too early in the season for the swimming pool to be open), which helped make for a really relaxing stay here. There is a railway line behind the property, but over the two days I stayed here I only saw two goods trains, and they certainly did not disturb the overall peace and tranquillity of the location. Worth noting that phone signal is patchy but wifi is good at the property. Highly recommended and will return.

This is an exceptional property. The renovation is stunning and in complete harmony with the building and the surroundings. The decor and finish is beautifully done. The room was very comfortable, the spa lovely and the food and cocktails delicious. The grounds are a delight to wander in, and the views onto the river Blavet are beautiful. The staff go out of their way to make sure you feel relaxed and welcome. We would love to return.

Breakfasts were pretty standard - bread and jam,one croissant and coffee/tea.
