A very warm welcome by the hosts. The cakes and wine were a lovely touch. The Shepherds hut was superb and very well fitted out, and had everything we needed for our stay.

Nice space to stay for a night or two. John the owner is absolutely great and more helpful than you can imagine. We were arriving late and we hadn’t eaten. John told us where we could get something and he even had a pizza ready for us if we hadn’t been able to find something. He gave us directions on the phone when we were lost and stayed up late to welcome us. The place was very clean, warm and comfortable.

Property was a remote, old stone built farm house. Everything was fairly basic including the bio toilet which was a saw dust flush. The couple who run it were very nice and accommodating.
