Villa Maria is a fabulous place to stay. The room was comfortable and the decor beautiful and homely. The host gave us a warm welcome and made sure we understood how everything works. She also sells her own honey and.makes beautiful soaps and gifts. The Restaurant de la Gare at the junction of the same road is a great place to have dinner. The Plat du Jour was delicious and the service was friendly. It is a good location to explore the area. The citadel in Bitche is definitely worth a visit. It has a good underground audio visual tour in several languages. It's a truly astonishing place looming high above the town.

The owner runs runs a resto-bar "Auberge Du Parc" on the ground level of same building. Please look for this restaurant which is at the crossroads junction. The accommodation is well equipped with complete set of kitchen appliances and facilities, washing machine and all the essential amenities besides fresh linen for a comfortable stay. We will always recommend this place and stay again when in this area.

Lovely host and responsive to messages. Appreciated flexibility with arrival time thanks to the key in a lock box. Property was located in a quaint village just outside of the nature reserve and offered generous parking space in the driveway. A good size apartment for 2 people, lovely little lounge area by the bedroom and lovely kitchen with all cooking equipment provided. The host provided a nice collection of tea and coffee as well as the shower products and towels. Lovely view outside the window of the church (the bells rang from 7am and could be heard from the bedroom).
