nice hotel, the menus and everything were only in French, quite often we can work out what the choices are but had to google translate. Food so so, wouldn't eat dinner there if I visited again.

The location is idyllic . Beautiful and tranquil. Staff are charming and very considerate.
We had one stop with two dogs travelling to Spain.

It as in a lovely location with beautiful grounds overlooking the lake & river.

The property is remotely located at approx 4000 ft above sea level which is part of it’s appeal. The rooms are basic as described but very clean and spacious. We had a family room featuring a mezzanine floor with two single beds for the kids upstairs and a double downstairs. There is no aircon but the design of the building and the elevation means that you don’t need it. Night temperatures are cool to make for a comfortable nights sleep.
We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal and breakfast and the food was excellent for both. As other have noted local produce is offered and was enjoyed by all of us.
The views are excellent.
