Stopover hotel. Out of season so pool not in use. Little bit worn at the edges and basic room with firm mattress. Small terras with table and 2 chairs. Was quiet except for road noise from 8am. Enough storage space.

Our host Christine was absolutely wonderful. She really looked after us and so friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was laid out beautifully for us and our rooms were very comfortable. We managed to have fun conversations despite the language differences. Best bed an breakfast!! Corinne is the nicest hostess ever, and you'll feel very welcome here. Only 3 rooms, but all seemed nice. Very clean, great beds, spacious room and no noise. Breakfast was lovely and all homemade, organic and just fantastic! There's even room for a car in the garage, which is very welcome in an old village with narrow and steep streets! Cucugnan is close to several of the Cathar castles, beautiful mountains and gorges. I think Cucugnan can be quite touristy, but in the middle of September it was perfect and no problem getting a table at one of the local restaurants. We were at the neighbouring Auberge the first night and Le Petit Gourmand the other 2 nights. Both of them super nice. I can only give my highest recommendation!!
