The hotel looks attractive and well looked after. It was a clear but chilly day when we arrived - nevertheless, we had a drink in the garden as it was so lovely. Our room had a lovely dark wood wardrobe and wooden floor - but it was also quite modern. Our meal was lovely and the attention from staff was appreciated. We'd come here again as it was a stop-off on a journey to Spain - though it would be nice on a hot day.

Friendly, helpful staff. Accommodated our late arrival with two dogs. Nice breakfast overlooking the lake following a peaceful walk around the lake in the early morning. Comfortable and clean room. Would like to come back in the summer to try out the pool and have breakfast on the terrace

A real rural hideaway - calm, tranquil and in the most beautiful house, which has been in the same family for 300 years. My room was huge and very comfortable, and breakfast was wonderful.
