The host is really top, they contact you in advance to give all details.

The dining room was authentic period and delightful, the food was good,
the mussels gratin particularly good, we enjoyed drinks from the locality.
The lady owner was vert knowledgeable of local history and gave us good advice on places to visit.

We drove 600 miles from England and needed a good sleep before continuing our journey to Spain. Its so rural and peaceful here. We slept for ten hours which we haven't done since we were lazy teenagers. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely with many things produced on site. The best thing about the place were the owners. They have restored the place and were rightly very proud to talk and show you a photo album about their hard work. Being animal lovers, it was great to see the chickens and goats on site. Almost forgot to mention that your vehicle is very safe in a locked courtyard within the grounds of the premises. This was a very rare occurrence where parking was free of charge.

This place was an amazing find, a little gem and we can’t recommend it enough. The hosts Claire & Arnaud were amazing nothing was to much trouble, the bedroom was spacious as the bathroom, location was a little difficult to find but the village was delightful with a superb sailing port a short walk away to visit.
The icing on the cake was the Table d Horte dinner, prepared by Claire to Michelin star standard , what a meal … this is a must, breakfast was good too. We wish the owners every success and will certainly return 5*
It feels like a safe area and it is very quiet. You will hear the church bells but to us, that was a charming feature. The local Co-op is very well stocked and reasonable and the Boulangerie is good. Small market in the square and a bar with food and music on a Friday night. Very easy to walk around and there is a pharmacy, where the owner is very helpful.
