A good location as we were house hunting in that area. The host was lovely and personable. The breakfast was perfect, great value for money. We were able to have secure parking too.

The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. The roaring log burner was lovely. We had delicious food in the evening and for breakfast. The owner couldn’t have put herself out more to make sure we had everything we needed.

Delightful hosts! I was alone in the house the first couple of nights but got to visit with the hosts sometimes in the day. Sheila even gave me a tour of the town. Very outgoing and a real pleasure to get to know. For the accommodations, I was expecting a shared bathroom, but she made the ground floor toilet private for me and my room had a sink and shower, so all that was a very pleasant surprise.

We were looking for a quiet country village get away and found exactly what we wanted in Saint-Fraigne. The single boulangerie was perfection and the quiet town with church bells and bubbling brook were relaxing. We also enjoyed biking in the surrounding hills.
