This Chalet was the perfect place to stop enoute to the coast with my dog after a long day of travelling we both needed a Comfortable bed and homely atmosphere. This had both as well as good outside space for my dog to run around. Breakfast tray was generous and appreciated.

The Chateau was a big old farm house along the river not far away from the small town of Pons or the main road down south or up north. The small village itself was a charming place to walk and Pons was very interesting too. Our room was really a spacious room with a lovely bathroom. Especially we liked old wooden floor. Breakfast was excellent and the owners showed us real warm hospitality. A good bonus was a small pool in the garden.

We drove 600 miles from England and needed a good sleep before continuing our journey to Spain. Its so rural and peaceful here. We slept for ten hours which we haven't done since we were lazy teenagers. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely with many things produced on site. The best thing about the place were the owners. They have restored the place and were rightly very proud to talk and show you a photo album about their hard work. Being animal lovers, it was great to see the chickens and goats on site. Almost forgot to mention that your vehicle is very safe in a locked courtyard within the grounds of the premises. This was a very rare occurrence where parking was free of charge.

This is a small but perfectly proportioned space which has been cleverly designed to provide more extras than we’ve had in much larger properties. The decor is tasteful and spotlessly clean.
