This is a lovely hotel with beautiful grounds. The staff are professional and accommodating. Rooms are comfortable, spacious, and with nice views. Dogs are allowed in the rooms but not restaurants, so we had room service. There is electric car charging and it’s an hour from the Eurotunnel, which is convenient.

Our group was 2 adults, an 8 yr old and an 11 yr old, breaking our journey on our way to Center Parcs for the week. We stayed in the "Double Room" which is above the archway visible in the photos.
A very quiet area, perfect for unwinding. The resident cat was tolerant and approachable and the dogs (only present with the host) energetic but safe.
The accommodation was clean, comfortable and we had a hugely relaxing night's sleep. The blackout blind works a treat. The shower was powerful and refreshing.
We would say this is an ideal place for a stop over for one or two nights.
We'd definitely stay here again without hesitation

The owner was very helpful and friendly. She personally greeted us and showed us to our room. She was very helpful with her communication. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, despite it being shared. The room was nice and cool and everything was very clean.

Host was super friendly, helpful and welcoming although didn’t speak English, so we laughed through our atrocious efforts at French. Our bedroom was fantastic, the bed (firm, my preference) and linen good quality and fresh. The breakfast was delicious including home made jams.
