Perfect location. We had the family room and it was well appointed with plenty of room and access to the rear car park. The local pool is just down the street as is the Casino and other restaurants just through the park. Overall it’s a great place for all.

Run by a very kind and easy going lady who does everything on her own. Dinner was nice and served in the garden. Location is really good, you can easily walk to the shops/center and stroll through the cute village.

We stay at Jeannie’s place during a bike tour in Morvan. Good communication with Jeannie ! She was helpful in our search for food - the famous cheese of her daughter we read about in the reviews was great ! She was reachable even though the mobile phone connexion was poor ! The place is large with an independent entry !

I had a very pleasant stay at Gîte de Sidonie. Made some beautiful hikes on which the owner advised me and even one day picked me up from Bibracte so that I could hike there from the gîte. The gîte is very spacious, the photos don’t do it justice. There is a huge terrace out the back and a garden to enjoy. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom was clean and spacious as well. The place is located close to many of the main attractions in the region. The gîte is actually attached to a sheep farm where the owner’s daughter makes yoghurt and cheese (very nice!). No worries about flies taking over, they are there but the gîte is well protected from them by window covers.

Large & modern (brand new 2022) room, comfy. Included breakfast of toast & yoghurt was a nice basis for te added fresh croissants & pain au chocolate from local bakery.

This is a difficult place to review. It is unique. If you want spotless well presented rooms and facilities this is not the place for you. I loved the place . The owner is a one off character who is very likable and makes you feel very welcome. The fellow guests were very friendly and engaging. If you want a one off experience this is a place to stay.
