The gîte was lovely. When we arrived the gite was cosy and warm with the log burner burning away in the fireplace. The kitchen had everything needed for a self catering stay. The gîte has been renovated to a very high standard with under floor heating and is tastefully furnished throughout. For those visiting the area for the first time there is plenty of information provided by the hosts. Perhaps for people who don't read French maybe the information pack could be written in English.
As we visited in mid January we did not use the garden, however for the warmer weather there was a table and chairs under a covered area. The gîte is in a beautiful village and is very quiet and peaceful. We have stayed in a lot of places in France and the Joli gite is by far the best - we didn't want to leave.

Good location, bit difficult to find, clean, and loved the cellar where we had breakfast.
