The rooms are huge and historical. We had a large castle room and felt like royalty. The restaurant meals are excellent, the staff ultra-helpful and friendly without being obsequious, and the views... the views of the rolling golden Beaujolais countryside could keep me occupied for days.

Breakfast was very nice with a range of fruit, cereal, coffee/tea, yoghurt, bread/toast, fresh muffins and a cooked egg.
Swimming pool was awesome at the end of each day. Easy walk to the village of Theize. Very generous in-house dinner.
