Lovely interesting and quirky old building with an unusual history. We had a memorable, comfortable night and fun playing with the train track with our two year old who was over the moon about seeing it. Also enjoyed seeing the collection of antiques. The location, though remote, was excellent for our needs and the route we were driving. We appreciated the secure parking and the on-site restaurant.

We stayed overnight on our way up to Switzerland, the staff were not very welcoming and we had to park our car on the road which didn't feel quite safe in our opinion. The accommodation was adequate but we found the place to be not very clean. Especially important to us during the Covid situation. We would not stay here again.
