Really friendly reception and service, cool in great heat, an oasis in the heatwave. Really delightful staff and accommodating. Very good dinner service, a simple menu but excellently done and professionally served. The facilities are likewise straightforward but everything one needs.

This is really a very nice hotel, where the staff were very friendly, the room was immaculate and the breakfast was superb. We could park our motorcycles in an open fronted garage which was great when packing up in the +30 degrees heat. The hotel is right in the town but very quiet at night. The town was small but right on a beautiful river with plenty of place for food and drink. We had a very good evening meal just a little way up from the hotel.

This is a lovely hotel. Spacious, comfortable rooms, with wonderful views over the river. The food is excellent - both evening meals and breakfasts. It was one of our favourite hotels before Covid and this was our first visit since - we were not disappointed, and shall return!

not a lot to say about saint-Marcel-d'ardeche as the two days we went were the wrong days and most things were closed(local holiday), it is nice and quiet and lots of places not far away to go and see.
do not even consider the area without transport.
